Jasper Collins, Jr.

Jasper Collins, Jr., age 76, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday morning, April 17, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
He was a retired self-employed sheet metal worker; an Army Veteran of World War II, and a Baptist by Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Collins Sr. and Mary Tyree Collins; one Brother, Robert Collins; and one Sister, Virginia Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Collins; Six Children, Mary Messer and her husband Jonathan of Gray, Christopher Collins of London, Richard Collins and wife Cheryl of Michigan, Reta Collins, and Jasper Collins III both of Monroe, Michigan, and Nancy Roy and husband Jim of Warren, Michigan;  6 Brothers and Sisters, Stoney Collins and wife Elizabeth of Ft. Myers, FL, Arminta Casada of Dayton, Harry Collins and wife Mary of Bonifay, FL, Truman Collins and wife Ida of Rockwood, TN, Earlene Sawyers and husband Rock of Houston, and Jerri Bowling of Corbin;  7 Grandchildren, Jessica and Richard Collins, Terry and Daniel Warren, David Collins, Austin Hicks, and Zachary Messer.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 19, 2004 from 6-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
