Jean Mullins

Jean Mullins, age 95, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday December 10, 2015 at Christian Care Communities in Corbin.
She was born in Barbourville the daughter of the late Miltie Scalf and Rosie Marcum Scalf. Jean was a homemaker who loved her family and she was a member of New Hope Ministries in Corbin.
In addition to her Parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Mullins; Children, Carol Ann Mullins, Shirley Cook, Dennis Mullins, and Gerald Mullins; Grandchildren, Nikki Helton, Donnie Butler, and Timothy David Smith; Brothers, Lester, Charles, and Tip Scalf; Sisters, Marie Lippert, Mae Frye, and Dora Trosper.
Jean is survived by her Children, Stan Mullins and wife Janice of California and Sheila Smith and husband Doron of Corbin; Grandchildren; Danny and Dewayne Butler, Eric Mullins, Lindsay Whiddon, Carissa, Katherine, Melody, and Matthew Smith; Great Grandchildren, Maya and Adam Helton, Courtney Walker, Brett and Dylan Butler, Hannah Mullins, Cade and Olivia Whiddon, Jacob, Josh, Jared, and Alexis Woolum, and Bradin Gabbard; Brother, Gorman Scalf and wife Wanda; and by several Nieces, Nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday December 14, 2015 from 4pm until 7pm with funeral service at 7pm on Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
