Jeffrey Kwasniewski

Jeffrey Kwasniewski, age 58, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Born in Gary, Indiana, he was a son to Stanley Raymond Kwasniewski and Sophie Smith Kwasniewski. Jeff was a talented mechanical engineer, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an active member of American Legion Post #88, where he served in the honor guard. Through the American Legion, Jeff made friends that became family, and he was proud of their work in the honor guard. Jeff also enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and fishing. He was a huge fan of baseball and always like cheering on the Chicago Cubs.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Raymond Kwasniewski.

He is survived by his mother, Sophie Smith Kwasniewski, sister, Mary Ann Smyth, brother, Daniel Winter (Cindy), and girlfriend, Shana Whitener.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Fonzie Wilder - American Legion Post #88, 84 E. Wentworth St., Corbin, Ky 40701.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks those who are able to donate to Hope Lodge - The American Cancer Society.
