Jerry Dewayne Helton

Jerry Dewayne Helton, 64, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Knox County, he was the son of the late Albert and Beulah Sams Helton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Helton.
He is survived by his children; Stephanie Hodge (Roger Monhollen), David Wayne Helton (Melissa), and Michael Lee Helton (Laureen Salas); eight grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Tommy and Robin Helton, Bill and Elaine Helton, and Janice and Charlie Davidson; and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 am on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Sams Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
