Jerry Dewayne Swanson

Jerry Dewayne Swanson, 61, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010, at his home.
Jerry was the son of the late Evan and Ethel Nelson Swanson. He was Pentecostal by faith and had been a truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary and by an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Brown Swanson; son, Jerry Swanson Jr.; daughters, Cassandra Brown and Nikki; step-children, Timothy Ferrell, Deborah Gray, and Robert E. Hurt; brothers, Dennis, Junior and Marvin, and sister, Diana; and by ten grandchildren, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 5, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Wagers officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, May 4, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY.
