Jerry Henson

Jerry Henson, 41, of Englewood, Florida, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
He was born December 6, 1965 in Danville, Indiana. He lived most of his life in the Englewood area and was a member of the Englewood Bible Church. He was a graduate of the Lemon Bay High School and had worked in the construction business.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father McKinley Henson,Sr., his step-dad Richard Shelton, and grandparents Gertrude & Mont Dailey and Lucy & Hargis Henson.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Henson and Debra M. Henson, both of Ringgold, Georgia; his mother, Mina Dailey Shelton of Englewood; two brothers, McKinley J.B. Henson, Jr. of Englewood and twin brother Terry Henson of Indianapolis, Indiana; six sisters, Kittie R. Sears of Englewood, Linda Cox and Wanda Tidewell of Indianapolis, Brenda Willis of Auburndale, Florida, Luann Dunham of Newnan, Georgia and Helen Calloway of Florence, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Robinson and Bro. Cecil Benge officiating. Burial will follow in the Stansbury Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, Feb. 9, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
