Jerry Lee Partin

Jerry Lee Partin, 82, of Corbin, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at his residence.
Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked as a mail handler for the Post Office. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Lee Partin and Minta Clara Miller Partin; and by his sister Janice Bennett.
Jerry is survived by his wife Bobbie Davis Partin; son Dwayne Lee Partin; granddaughter Kayla Partin; brother Jimmy Partin; Godchildren Michelle Huddleston and Shawn Huddleston and their children Timothy Helton, Zachariah Helton, and Charley Huddleston.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Bend Cemetery in Knox County, with military graveside honors by American Legion Post 88 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
