Jessie Nelson Moore

Jessie "J.N." Nelson Moore, 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, in San Angelo, Texas.
Born in Corbin, he was a long-time resident of Rantoul, Illinois. He was a member of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Rantoul, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and had retired from the Civil Service with the Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his Son, Ricky; Daughter, Lynette; Parents, Willis R. and Bertha Baird Moore; Sister, Carrie Moore; and Brothers, Billy E. Moore and Robert M. Moore.
He is survived by his Wife, Mary T. Moore of San Angelo, Texas; Son, David N. Moore and wife Ella of Whitehouse, Texas; Daughter, Betsy L. Ryan and husband M. Casey of San Angelo; Grandsons: Jason N. Moore of Brooklyn, New York; Jacob T. Moore of Whitehouse, Texas; Jamie M. Ryan of Boston, Massachusetts; and Christopher P. Ryan and wife Karla Kay of Las Vegas, Nevada; two great-grandsons, Kaiden and Keegan Ryan of Las Vegas; and Sister, Loretha Worley of Williamsburg.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon Saturday, Aug. 15, until the funeral at 2 pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Darvin Wells officiating.
Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
