Jewell Rebecca Whittaker

Jewell Rebecca Whittaker, age 36, of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at her residence.
Rebecca was born Sept. 4, 1976 in Whitley County to John William Whittaker and Flora Mae Whittaker who survives. She attended Cool Springs General Baptist Church and was a 1994 Warren East graduate. Rebecca was a nurse at Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to Andrea's Mission or Christian Family Radio, PO Box 539, Bowling Green, KY 42102.
Jewell Rebecca Whittaker is survived by one son, Jonathan Garrett Whittaker of Morgantown; mother, Flora Mae Whittaker of Morgantown; father, John William Whittaker of Corbin; sister, Laverne Burns and husband Ken of Morgantown; brother, John Kevin Whittaker and wife Jessica of Canmer, KY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at Cool Springs General Baptist Church Wednesday, October 10, at 6:00 pm with Bro. Jeremy Brooks and Bro. Ken Burns officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 2:30 pm until the funeral time at 6:00 pm at Cool Springs General Baptist Church.
Additional visitation is Thursday, Oct. 11, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 4:30pm Thursday at Whittaker Family Cemetery in London, KY.
