Jewell Virginia White

Jewell Virginia White, age 83, of Gray, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Baptist Regional Medical Center. Born in Dumas, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Tilmon Jones and Mabel Williams Jones. She was a homemaker and factory worker and had been baptized at Gray's Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Paul Tilmon Jones; sisters, Margie Dill, Juanita, Oda May, Ona Jane Jones, and Betty Sue Stewart. She is survived by her husband, Chester Noah White; seven children, Larry Vance White, Hilda Jeanine Askins, Agnes Virginia White,
Carol Gay Brejnak, Kenneth Chester White, Noah Charles White, and John Marvin White; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Jones of Corbin; and sisters, Collen Willoughby and Maybelle Smith, all who mourn her passing. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, July 14, 2011, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Cox Cemetery at Gray.
