Jill Coffey

Jill Coffey, age 75, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late, Marcus Adams and Minnie Rapier Adams. Jill loved puzzle books, Dr. Pepper, and crochet, but nothing was more important to her than family. Especially, her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She cherished every moment with them and loved each of them deeply.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Coffey, siblings, Marjorie Parham, Harold Adams, Jack Adams, and Jerry Adams, all of Corbin, and great grandsons, Noah McWhorter and Drake Southerland.

Jill is survived by her children, Bryan Coffey (Virginia), Roger Coffey (Barb), and Billy Coffey, all of Corbin; grandchildren, J.B., Preston, Dylan, Tosha, Kayla, and Tabitha; twenty-three great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Newberry of Corbin, and Beverly Hammons of Corbin; special friend, Esther Mae; and by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 2pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Stansbury Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
