Jo Anne Gregory

Jo Anne Gregory, age 85, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Baptist Regional Medical Center, Corbin, Kentucky.

She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on May 26, 1938, to the late Walter and Madeline Byrd.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Philip Gregory, her daughters Joni Farmer (Todd), Kristi Botner (Jody), grandsons Blake Botner, Quinton Botner, Clay Botner, sister, Mitzi Reeves (Willard), brother, Don Byrd (Lisa), sister, Debbie Prewitt (the late Robert Prewitt), special sister-in-law, Ann Longworth, and special friend, Gina Valentine. She is also survived by a host of other family members and friends whom she loved deeply.

Jo Anne was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church. She worked 41 years for Whayne Supply Company and was known for her hard work and loyalty towards others.

Jo Anne was loved by everyone who knew her, and she will be missed tremendously by her family and friends.

Visitation for Jo Anne will be held from 12-2pm on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Josh Politt officiating.

Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Blake Botner, Quinton Botner, Clayton Botner, Brian Reeves, Timothy Prewitt, Travis Prewitt, and Tyler Prewitt serving as pallbearers.
