Joann Mitchell

JoAnn Mitchell, age 61, of Corbin, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004 at her residence.
She was born in New Tazwell, TN to Joe Wilson and Mary Lundy McKnight. She was a legal secretary and stenographer, and a member of the West Corbin Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Mitchell; a Son, Eugene Mitchell; Four Brothers, Howard Wilson, Glen Wilson and his wife Doris, Kenneth Wilson, and Lloyd Charles Wilson; Three Grandsons, Jeremy Mitchell and wife Jessica, Larry Mitchell,and Jonah Alex Mitchell; One Great Grandson Jeremy Mitchell Jr., One Aunt Edna Babb Blair; and one Uncle, Bill Lundy.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 14, 2004 at 1:30pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Lee and Rev. John Burkhart officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Lily, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
