Joanna Arlene Southerland

Joanna Arlene Southerland, 64, of Keavy, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2005 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Born March 24, 1941 in Laurel County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Eula Newman Floyd. She was a homemaker and a member of the Locust Grove Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Southerland and her son Robert Price.
She is survived by five children: Jackie Price of London, Greg Southerland of Keavy, Bruce Southerland of London, Michelle Sizemore of Lily and Crystal Southerland of Keavy; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Floyd of Keavy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Roger Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
