John E 'Jack' Bunch

John "Jack" Edward Bunch, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2007.
He was born on September 1, 1932 in Keavy, KY the son of the late Clayton and Elva Hill Bunch.
Jack was an elder at North 7th Street Christian Church in Hamilton, OH for many years before becoming a full time Minister. He followed in the footsteps of his Great Grandfather, Preacher J.A. Karr. He began his ministry at Locust Grove Christian Church in 1974. He also served as Minister at McWhorter Christian Church, McHargue Christian Church, before retiring after serving as Minister for 22years at the Level Green Church of Christ. Jack was also Chaplain at the Hillcrest Nursing Home. He also worked at the Hart Funeral Home and at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War having served in both Korea and Japan and was a life member of D.A.V. Chapter 158 in Keavy.
In addition to his Parents, He was preceded in death by one Son, Larry Allen Bunch
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joann Cassidy Bunch, Keavy; Two Daughters, Theresa Baker and husband Owen and Cheryl Anders and husband Johnny all of Keavy; Eight Grandchildren, Clayton Baker, Kara Baker, Josh Baker, Kody Baker, Ethan Anders, Ryan Anders, Mariah Anders, and Micah Anders all of Keavy; Two Great Granddaughters, Kaylie Grimes and Addison Baker of Keavy; Brother, Estil Bunch of Seven Mile, OH; Two Sisters, June Morgan and Jean Bunch both of Hamilton, OH; One Uncle Add and Evelyn Hill of Corbin; One Aunt, Alice Helton of Keavy.  He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, December 16, 2007, at 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Marion Parkey, Keith Short, and Dan McLoughlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy.
Pallbearers will be his Sons-in-law, Grandsons, and Nephews; Honorary Pallbearers will be the Members of the Level Green Church of Christ.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Military services will be conducted by the D.A.V. Chapter 158 of Keavy.
