John Logan, age 69, of Corbin went to be with his Savior on Friday, August 7, 2015.
Born at Hyden, he was a son of Dee and Sillar Sizemore Logan who preceded him in death, along with brothers Bill and Frank Logan.
John served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, and was a good Christian man and a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
On October 10, 1981 he united in marriage with Deborah Keck and they enjoyed more than 33 wonderful years together.
John is survived by his wife Deborah Keck Logan; daughters Carol Walker of Texas and Tina Logan of Washington; a brother Tim Logan and wife Nancy of Corbin; an aunt Mabel Morgan and cousin Alma Dixon, both of East Bernstadt; nieces Rayna Logan of Corbin, Sandra Lopez of St. Clair Shores, MI, and Mehgan Cross of Louisville; his mother-in-law Connie L. McHargue of Corbin; father-in-law Jay Roger Keck and Lois Mills of Corbin; brother-in-law Roger Keck and wife Marsha of Richmond; nephews Jarred Keck of Louisville and Luke Keck of Richmond; several other family members and many special friends, including Lynn Cowell of Corbin, and friends from Paradise Cove Campground at Cherokee Lake in Tennessee.
John's visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will follow at 2pm Tuesday with the Rev. Rodney Norvell officiating.
Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, with military honors by the American Legion Post #88 honor guard.
