Johnny Vernon Gray

Johnny Vernon Gray, age 69, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at his home.
He was the son of the late Marcum Gray, Sr. and Edmona Taylor Gray of Knox County. Johnny was a man who lived off the land and enjoyed his life and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brothers, Whitley and Everette Gray; Sisters, Doris Davenport, Lucy and Lovella Gray.
He is survived by his family: Daughter, Teresa May Taylor; Siblings, Elmer Gray and wife Jean of Barbourville, Marcum Gray Jr. and wife Ora Mae, Stella Mae Gray and the late Billie Gray,  Cleo Tye and the late Royal Tye, and Bernice Buss all of Corbin; also by a host of Nieces and Nephews and by his dog "Dottie"
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, February 13, 2011, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery.
Our Brother will be dearly missed by the family and a host of friends. He will always remain close in our hearts.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 12th, from 6-8pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
