Joseph Ray 'Joe' Westbrook

Joseph Ray "Joe" Westbrook, 66, of Corbin, passed away on January 31, 2019 at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born in Corbin, Joe was the son of the late Albert Earl and Alice Bundy Westbrook. He retired from the coal mining industry 20 years ago. Joe enjoyed restoring classic cars and trucks, restoring furniture, smoking meat and cooking.  He also enjoyed playing football while attending Lynn Camp High School.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by sisters Claudia Okuma Westbrook and Janice Vickers Westbrook; nephew Joey Sizemore; and niece Tonya Vickers.
Joe is survived by his sister Carolyn Susie Goodin of Corbin; and nieces and nephews: Lisa, Johnathan, and Chris Okuma, Tommy and Travis Goodin, and Judy and Jeff Vickers of Corbin.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 1, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
