Joyce Lawson

Joyce Lawson, age 68, of Corbin, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009 at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
She was born on January 8, 1941 to the late Marie B. and Lawton General Storms, and was united in marriage on October 3, 1958 to Earl Leland Lawson who preceded her in death.
She is survived by six Children: Jerry Wayne Lawson; Shirley Marie Karr and husband Leland; Charlotte Joyce Davis and husband Steve; Cheryl Faye Reeves and husband Anthony; Doris Jean Smith and husband Dennis; and Thomas James Lawson; 17 Grandchildren, Shelia Cornette, Robbie Jones, Shalene and Travis Karr, Teresa Manning, Wayne, Danny, and Dillion Lawson, Crystal, Christina, Christopher, and Christa Moore, Jesse and Jason Taylor, Timothy and Samantha Lawson, and Ryan "Boo" Smith. Aunt Creasie Evelyn Crawford; 16 Great Grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Welch and Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visiation will be on Monday, August 17th from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her special friends of DCI Dialysis of Corbin, and Dr. Watts and staff.
