Juanita Fisher Burkhart

Juanita Fisher Burkhart, 79, of Corbin, passed away Thursday, April 26th, 2018 after a long illness at the home of her son.  Juanita was born on February 21st, 1939 and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Joel Fisher Sr. and Dolly Minton Fisher; brothers Bill Fisher, Ronnie Fisher, Jay Fisher, and Johnny Fisher; and sister Betty McLain.
Juanita is survived by her son Danny Burkhart and wife Jeannie Burkhart of Corbin and her granddaughter Cassie Burkhart of Corbin. She is also survived by brothers Joel Fisher Jr. of Wallins, KY, Jerry Fisher of Wallins, KY, and Donnie Fisher of Coldiron, KY; sisters Wanda Disney of Wallins, KY, Geneva Fee of Frankfort, KY, and Faye Monroe of Waynesboro, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
We wish to invite you to Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to celebrate Juanita's life and also celebrate that she has gone on to be with God in Heaven and with all of her family and friends who have gone before her. Visitation is 12pm to 2pm Sunday, April 29th, with funeral following at 2pm.
Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily.
