Judy C. Gray

Judy C. Gray, age 61, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday August 24, 2023, at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Born in Knox County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Earl Hopkins Sr. and Maggie Hatcher Hopkins. Judy was a devoted CNA with Christian Care Communities in Corbin, where she had worked for over 34years. Her greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Hopkins Jr, Charlie Hopkins, Donnie Hammack, and Earl Hammack, sisters, Barbara Goforth, Jennifer Brown, and Floretta Gabbard.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Crystal Boyd, husband, Rondall Gray, grandchildren, Savanna Boyd, Brianna Boyd, and Michel Boyd, siblings, Rick and Amy Hopkins, Eugene and Sue Hopkins, Erma and Robert Parker, Betty Mashall, Ruby Jackson, Bertie and Ed Martin, Edith Lawson, Faye and Tony Hall, Margie Smith, and Charles and Donna Hammack, and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends, and co-workers who will mourn her passing.

Visitation for Judy Gray will be held from 6-8pm on Monday August 28, 2023, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday August 29th at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the Norvell Cemetery in Lily, Kentucky.
