Judy Dale Mays

Judy Dale Williams Mays, age 63, of Corbin, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, passed away after a short illness on January 3, 2011, at Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mays Jr.; parents, James F. and Juanita Mitchell Williams; and brother, David J. Williams.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula Mays Mink and husband Shawn, and Cheryl Mays Carter and husband Stephon, all of Lexington; sister, Sandra K. Williams of Lexington; brother, James M. Williams of Corbin; grandchildren, Pfc Todd K. Bailey USMC, David Michael Bailey, Dyron Carter, Landin Carter, Stefani E. Carter and Joseph A Mink; great-grandsons, Aryan Bailey and D.J. Carter; and honorary son, Lt. Matthew Bailey USN.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon Saturday, Jan. 8, until the funeral service at 2:00pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY. Rev. Roy Mitchell and Pastor Don Evans will officiate.
Burial will be in Hart Cemetery on Moore Hill in Corbin. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
