June Faulkner

June Faulkner, 82, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at her home.
Born in Knox County, she was the daughter of the late William Smith and Lilly Carmack Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Joe Faulkner and James C. Faulkner; two brothers: Linville Smith and Charles Smith; and three sisters: Pearl Fisher, Lorain Davis and Kathy Brown.
She is survived by three sons: James L. Faulkner (Sandra) of Murrells Inlet, SC; David Faulkner (Shirley) of Corbin; and William Faulkner of Manchester; four daughters: Lilly Payette of Detroit, MI; Beverly Baker of Alabama; Kathy Gruse of Tulsa, OK; and Bobbie Gean Land of Georgia; eight grandchildren: Sondra D. Faulkner, Michelle Faulkner, Adam and Chase Robbins, Kaylinn Rice, McKenneth and Kevin Gruse, and William Dale Jackson; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Sidney Payette of Detroit, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 20, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Marion Roaden and Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3pm on Friday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home.
