Kathi Jean Knotts

Kathi Jean Robertson Knotts, age 64, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Hazard, KY, she was a daughter of the late Fred Robertson and Mary Lou Witt Robertson. She was a devoted member of Calvary Tabernacle Church. Kathi loved her church and never missed an opportunity to be there serving with others. She was a light in the life of anyone she met. She enjoyed nature, especially, being out on Laurel Lake and camping with family and friends. Kathi viewed her most important role in life as being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed providing for them and loved each of them unconditionally.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Robertson and Freddie Robertson, two nieces, Jamie Robertson and Ruthie Cox, and by numerous other nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Knotts, two sons, Chris Rose (Rickele) and John Rose (Heather), six grandchildren, Payton, Erin, Cody, Braden, Liam, and Makayla, a brother, James Robertson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 4pm with Bro. Craig Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
