Kathleen Mae Brewer

Kathleen Mae Brewer, 88, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2006 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born January 7, 1918 in Cleves, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles N. and Margaret F. Chesnut Brewer. She was a clerk for Brewer's Grocery and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Brewer and Charles Don Brewer; and her niece, Rebecca Brewer Topolsky.
She is survived by her brother, Dennis Doyle Brewer and wife Thelma of Corbin; sister, Carmen Brewer of Corbin; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Brewer and Maxine Campbell Brewer; four nieces and nephews, Denise Brewer Lanham and husband Randy, Charles Don Brewer and wife Terry, Michael Brewer and wife Juanita, and Teresa Brewer Lundy and husband Kenneth; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; four great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Chris Jasper officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel River Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kris Hubbard, Mike Brewer, Donnie Brewer, Randy Lanham, Kenny Lundy, David Smith, David Campbell, and Allen Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Trinity United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday, March 22, at the funeral home.
