Kay Jean Gaither

Kay Jean Gaither, age 80, of Corbin, KY passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her home.
Born in Kansas City, KS, she was the daughter of the late Robert Harold Osborn and Claira L. Penn Osborn. Kay was a factory worker at American Greeting. She attended Greenland Baptist Church and was a TOPS member. She also loved sewing, crafting, and water skiing with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Gaither; and three brothers, Harold Osborn, Larry Osborn, and Bobby Osborn.
Kay is survived by three children, Brenda Mullins and husband Ben of London, KY, Linda Partin of Corbin, KY, and James R. Gaither Jr. of Harlingen, TX; two brothers, Steve Osborn and Martin Osborn; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and by numerous family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00PM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Kay Gaither will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 21st at the funeral home with Rev. Marvin Cress and Rev. Luke Day officiating.
