Kenneth "Bobby" Roaden, age 65, of Corbin, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
He was born in Corbin on March 22, 1938 to the late William "Bill" Roaden and Stella Steele Roaden.
He was a retired Coal Operator, an Army Veteran, and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Corbin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three Brothers, Glen Roaden, Bill Roaden Jr. and Eugene Roaden.
He is survived by his wife Jackie Baker Roaden; Two Sons, Kenneth Roaden Jr. and his wife Liz of Dayton, OH, and Jeffrey G. Roaden and his wife Tracy of Corbin; Four Grandchildren, Catherine, Joseph, Kirsten, and Zachary Roaden; Two Brothers, Raymond Roaden and his wife Lela and Leland Roaden and his wife Shirley all of Corbin; Two Sisters, Joann Jump and her husband Wayne and Mary Lou Roaden all of Wapakoneta, OH; His Mother-in-Law, Orpha Baker of Corbin, and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2pm on Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jervis officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin.
Visitation will be from 12noon until the time of the service on Thursday.
