Kenneth Clayton Bunch, age 89, of Corbin, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013, at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Ramsey Bunch and Maude Cox Bunch. He was a foreman at the former Elicon, was a member of Steele's Chapel Christian Church, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Ray Bunch; first wife, Murial Bolton Bunch; brothers, Clifford and Junior Bunch; and sister, Dalphine.
He is survived by his wife, Zola Delane Bunch; daughter, Vicki Godsey and husband Michael; step-daughter, Donna Southern; daughter-in-law, Patsy Bunch; three grandchildren, Jason Godsey, Crystal Bunch, and Danielle Bunch; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maryelle Hill and Elizabeth Gilbert; and brother, Roy Bunch, all who mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 10th, until the Funeral at 2:00 P.M. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Worley Cemetery with military graveside honors.
