Kim Alan Blue

Kim Alan Blue, age 70, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at his home.

Born in Springfield, OH, he was a son to the late Marcia Sue McVicar. Kim worked as a painter and was a talented mechanic, which was a hobby he greatly enjoyed. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially, his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Helton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda LeForce Blue, four children, Anthony McVicar, Joy Blue-Smith and husband Sherman, Krystal Miller and husband Justin, and China Blue, grandchildren, Kodey Smith and wife Amanda, Bryan Blue and wife Destiny, Seth Smith, Devan Smith, Gracie Miller, Hannah Miller, Denver Miller, James Epperson, Kimberlyn Earls, and Billie Warren, great grandchildren, Hope Blue, Isabella Blue, Elizabeth Mae Blue, and Elias Blue, a brother, Kerry Blue, a sister, Bonnie Helton, and by many friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00pm on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 5:00pm on Friday, March 10th, with Rev. Daniel Terrell officiating.
