L. O. 'Doc' Farley

L.O. "Doc" Farley, 69, of Corbin, went to the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2008, at his home.
Born in Harlan, he was the son of the late Henry and Montana Day Farley. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Long; and three brothers-in-law, Morgan Perry, Jim Grogan and Gene Long.
He is survived by two brothers, William Farley of Harlan and Cam (Hammer) Farley of Lily; four sisters, Elva Perry of Corbin, Mary Grogan of Somerset, Martha Britton of Glasgow, and Sarah Cox of Corbin; one sister-in-law, Ruby Farley of Corbin; and two brothers-in-law, Chester Cox of Corbin and Harry Britton of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews; and other family members, friends and acquaintances to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Rogers and Rev. Roger Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Wednesday, July 30, at the funeral home.
