Larry Dale Elliott

Larry Dale Elliott, age 67, of Woodbine, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born in Louisville, KY, he was a son of the late Carl Elliott and Betty Ruth Elliott. Larry was a Baptist by faith and worked as a mechanic. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed horseback riding and welding.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larkin and Emma Elliott, and William and Ota Morgan, a brother, Gary Wayne Elliott, and a niece, Shana Hamilton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carla Keating Elliott, daughter, Margaret, Maggie, Cox and husband David Cox, grandson, Elliott B. Cox, three sisters, Carolyn Reeves, Donna Hart, and Debra Goodin, sister-in-law, Jane Wages, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will follow at 3pm.

Burial will follow in the Carl and Betty Family Cemetery in Woodbine, KY.
