Laura Lee Robinson, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin.
She was born in Clay County to the late Burchell Smith and Mary Taylor Smith Reed.
She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Corbin.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Son, Dorris Langdon.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond B. Robinson of Corbin; three Great Grandchildren, Wyatt Langdon, and Dustin Arritt both of Indianapolis, IN, and Zoey Ison of Corbin; three Grandchildren, Mark and Darren Langdon both of Indianapolis, IN, and Brandon Ison of Corbin; five Children; Ledford Langdon and wife Anna, Jasper, and Carol Langdon all of Somerset, Homer Langdon and wife Sally J. of Danville, and Mary Langdon Ison of Corbin; three Brothers, Alton Smith of London, Ernest Reed of Corbin, and Stanley Reed of Lily; seven Sisters, Sally Burnett of TN, Ruby Reed of Manchester, Florence Smith of Somerset, Cressie Smith of London, Dessie Stacy of London, Martha Allen of TN, and Marie Hart of Corbin. She is also survived by a host of family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be on Friday, August 5, 2005 at 3pm in the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Elliott, Pastor Johnny Farmer, Pastor Buster Patterson and Pastor Dan Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin. Pallbearers will be Mark and Darren Langdon, Brandon Ison, Dustin Arritt, Chris McQueen, Ron Kidd, Jeff and Mark Nantz.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
