Lena Mills

Lena Mills, age 82, of Gray, passed away on Thursday May 31, 2018 at Continue Care Hospital in Corbin.
She was born in Knox County a daughter to the late Matt Engle and Maude Cox Engle; Lena was retired from Union College and was a member of Candle Ridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Roy Mills; Daughters, Brenda Lou Mills and Amanda Michelle Mills; Brothers, Hershel and Almond Engle; and by her twin Sister, Lela Engle and sister, Palma Spurlock.
Lena is survived by her Daughters; Virginia Marlou Baker (Richard); Barbara Bruce (Ray Travis), and Melissa Freeman (Alan); Grandchildren, Richard Nathan Baker, Timothy Baker (Tiffany), Amy Cecchini (Anthony), Katie Bruce, Megan Freeman, and Tyler Freeman and by her great grandson, Owen Sawyer Baker.
Funeral service for Lena Mills will be held at 2pm on Sunday June 3, 2018 at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, KY, with Rev. Rick Broughton and Rev. Sam Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in Candle Ridge Cemetery in Gray.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 6-9pm and on Sunday from 12noon until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where messages may be written to the family at vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com
