Leo 'T.O.' Elliott

November 12, 1923 — August 21, 2005

Leo "T.O." Elliott, 81, of Rockholds, passed away on Sunday, August, 21, 2005 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center.
Born November 12, 1923 in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Lark Elliott and Emma Sammons Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Hensley Elliott and his son Anthony Randal Elliott. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by three children: T.O. Elliott Jr. and wife Barbara, Terry Elliott, and Janice Maxey and husband Kenneth; four grandchildren, Mawnie Belcher & husband Matt of London, Arick Hill and wife Kathy of Rockholds, Cherie Elliot of Rockholds and Nicki Maxey of Rockholds; four great-grandchildren, Mathew and Justin Belcher and Cheyanne and Bradley Hill; one brother, Oscar Elliott of Rockholds; one sister, Eula Mink of Williamsburg; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 24, at the Meadow Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the McFarland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 23, at the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
The Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
