Leona Rose

Leona Rose, age 65, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Arthur Ray Simpson; Mother, Flora Bell Napier Simpson Petrey; and Brother, Reed Nantz.
She is survived by her ten Sisters and Brothers: Margaret Frasure, Barney Simpson, Frances Sharp, Marilyn Logan, Bob Simpson, Christine Carr, Barbara Blevins, Greg Simpson, Janet MacKynen, and Rod Simpson; Companion Larry Felts; step-Daughter, Misty Swafford; two step-sons, Mark and Eddie Felts; six step-grandchildren, Taylor and James Swafford, Erica, Blake, Harrison, and Emerson Felts; and by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends who will all mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Corn Creek Cemetery in Woodbine.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Monday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
