Leonard Garnell Broome

Leonard Garnell Broome, 60, a nine year resident of Corbin, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Prince Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late Asia McKinley Broome and Dorothy Gross Broome. He worked in construction as a concrete finisher, and was a U.S. military veteran.
He is survived by companion Carol Logsdon; six children: Eric Hurley, Tiffany Thompson, Shannan Broome, Leonard Broome, Jr., McKinley Broome, and Latrice Broome; and grandchildren DeShawn Freeland, Zaydia Gooding, Zariah Gray, Danielle Steight, Lynn Thompson, and Danielle Thompson, all who mourn his passing.
All services to celebrate his life will be held in Maryland by his family.
