Leonard Harold Salmons

Leonard Harold Salmons, age 78, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at his home.
He was retired from CSX railroad, and was a member and Deacon at the Level Green Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Iva Salmons in 2001; Parents, Ancil and Nellie Russell Salmons; Four Brothers, Ira, Grove, Omar, and Elbert "Cap" Salmons; Half Sister, Clara Sharp; two Half Brothers, Willie and Cecil Salmons.
He is survived by his seven Children; Judy Loomis of Crittenden, KY, Harold Salmons of Owenton, KY, Darrel Salmons of Walton, KY, Lois Spennbierg of Crittenden, Larry Salmons of Corinth, Gail Webster and Mary Powell both of Williamston, KY; 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at Poynters Chapel in Laurel County with Dan McLoughlin officiating. Burial will be in the Poynters Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
