Leonard William Pridemore

Leonard William Pridemore, 65, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at The Heritage.
Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late John Will Pridemore and Ruth Maxine Tye Pridemore. He was a faithful member of the Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church and had worked at American Greeting Card Corp. for 32 years, 5 months, and 15 days.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry E. Pridemore.
He is survived by his wife Norma Jean Westerfield Pridemore; four sons: Leonard Joseph Pridemore, Anthony Monroe Pridemore, Timmy Mark Pridemore, and Adam Hayes Pridemore; honorary son, Donnie Steele; honorary daughter, Michelle Stubblefield Pridemore; six granddaughters: Kaylee, Hannah, Dessie, Elizabeth, Caitlin, and Cloudia; two grandsons: Elijah and Nathaniel; and sister, Betty Ruth Pridemore Merry and husband Glen.
The funeral will be at 2pm Friday, March 13, 2015, at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Steely and Mike Griffis officiating. Burial will be in the Merrimac Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Thursday, March 12, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home and from 1-2 pm Friday at the church.
