Leslie Jordan

Leslie Jordan, 80, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Laurel Heights in London.
Born in Barbourville, he was the son of the late Nealie Jordan and Renie Messer Jordan. He was Baptist by faith, and was retired from the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and Korea.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Jordan; step-daughter Vicki Davidson; brothers Tinsley Jordan and James Jordan; and sister Floretta Jordan.
He is survived by his daughter Linda Jackson(Larry) of Corbin; granddaughter Brittney Frederick (Brian) of Heidrick; great-grandchild Charis Frederick; brother Victor Jordan (Chelsea) of Tennessee; sisters: Della Marion of Corbin, Nora Jean Taylor (Ernie) of Barbourville, and Phyllis Troxell of Deer Park, Texas; sister-in-law Brenda Jordan of Deland, Florida; several nieces and nephews including Wilma Marion of Garden Grove, California; and special friend and caregiver Danielle Dugger of Corbin.
Funeral service for Leslie Jordan will be at 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 22, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis McCoy and Pastor Shane Martin officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the DAV Keavy Chapter 158.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. Friday until the time of the funeral at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
