Lettie Mae Dizney

Lettie Mae Dizney, age 88, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday March 28, 2024, at Baptist Health in Corbin.

Born in Corbin, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Henry Jones and Bettie Owens Romines Jones. Lettie was a retired lab technician from American Greetings in Corbin, and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Lettie loved to take care and feed her family. She enjoyed going to the lake with her family and especially loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lettie is survived by her loving husband, Chester Dizney; children, Chester Arnold Dizney (Nancy), and Sharon Petrey (Roy Smith); grandchildren, Josh Roaden (Amanda), William Dizney (Angie), and Ben Dizney (Kirsten); great grandchildren, Brailey Dizney, Brookz Dizney, Whitley Roaden, Kamden Dizney, Eden Dizney, and Raegan Dizney; siblings, Ray Jones (Meta), Willie Jones, and Betty Veer (Arlie); and by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday April 2, 2024, from 1pm until 3pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 2nd at 3pm with Rev. Kevin Roach officiating.

Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
