Lillie Mae Carter

Lillie Mae Carter, 64, of Gray, passed away on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at UK Medical Center.
Born in Williamsburg, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Bessie Durham Moore. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denzel Carter; sisters, Zelma Jean Brown and Dixie Cox; brothers, Richard Moore and Johnny Moore.
She is survived by her son, Paul Brown and daughters, Susan and Jennie; sisters, Pearlie Scimia, Julia Alsip, Martha LaFlamme, and Lola Moore; and numerous other family and friends who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon Monday, Jan. 18, until the time of the funeral at 2pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Willis Woods Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Woods Cemetery.
