Lillie Maye Tackett

Lillie Maye Tackett, age 78. of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY.

Born in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Elmer King and Irene Johnson King.  Lillie loved her family and enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, and auctions where she met many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Ferguson, grandson, Christopher Oney, brother, Estill King, and by her stepson, Sean Tackett.

Lillie is survived by her husband, Bill Tackett, daughter, Felicia Fitzpatrick, grandchildren, Allee Wright and Tylisha Asberry, great grandchildren, Shyrissa Oney, Lora-Mae Dishman, Christopher Miller, Zeya Wright, Zaiden Wright, and Zeke Wright, stepchildren, Shirley, Nancy, Bill Jr., Jennifer, Joyce, and Sandy, step grandchildren, Jaden, Janiya, and Jerry and his wife Amanda, and by many friends including Danny Mathis.

Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Sunday November 12, 2023, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm, with Rev. Sam Moore officiating.  Singing will be Danny Mathis.

Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.  Serving as pall bearers will be Jerry Price, Danny Mathis, Ray Bullis, Jaden Benjamin, Sandra Tackett, and Shane Miller.
