Linda Gail Martin

Linda Gail Martin, 58, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2020 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born May 25, 1961 to Curtis and JoAnn Couch Martin who survive. She was affiliated with Level Green Baptist Church and loved to fish. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving and devoted grandmother.
She is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Poynter; and a brother, Dewayne Martin. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Monica Poynter (David Eaton); grandchildren, Hope and John Clontz and Haleigh Poynter; brother, David Martin; companion, Phillip Miller; nieces, Michaela Martin and Meghan Dockery; a nephew, Michael Martin; a special chihuahua Polly, who was always with her; and a host of other friends and family to mourn her passing. Funeral Service for Linda Gail Martin will be held at 2pm Friday, March 13, 2020, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at the Chappell Cemetery in Keavy, Ky.
