Lodie 'Irene' Hughes

Lodie "Irene" Hughes, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
She was a 40-year member of the Rossland Holiness Church in Gray.  She was preceded in death by her Husband, Denzle Parker Hughes; Daughter, Cindy Jean Hughes McClellan; Parents, Greenberry and Mary Blakley Croley; Granddaughter, Amanda Blanton; Grandson, Larry Stacy Hughes; Son-in-law, Millard Blanton; two Sisters, Edith Templeton and Ada Lawson; and by one Brother, Charlie Fuston.
She is survived by a large and loving family who will greatly miss her: her Six Children, Son, Denzle Paul Hughes JR of Westland, MI; Daughter, Ada Wasierski and husband Dennis of Attica, IN; Daughter, Mary Farris and husband Johnny of Gray, Daughter, Elizabeth Blanton and Dave Flannelly of Gray; Daughter, Connie Eagle and husband Breckey of Gray, and Son, Larry Lee Hughes and Brenda Hall of Williamsburg; Sister, Eva Odell of Cincinnati; Sixteen Grandchildren, and 37 Great Grandchildren.
al service will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, November 15, 2008, at the Rossland Holiness Church in Gray with Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Brafford Cemetery in Gray.
Visitation will be on Friday November 14th from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin.
