Lois Hendrickson

Lois Hendrickson, 78, of Corbin, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born September 17, 1927 in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Sylvester Holt and Relda Morgan Holt. She was an assembly line worker for Elicon and was a member of the West Corbin Baptist Church, and was an honorary Kentucky member of the Order of the Confederate Rose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Hendrickson in 1991.
She is survived by six children, Cookie Byrd and husband Teddy of Williamsburg, Jimmy Hendrickson Jr. and wife Tammy of Woodbine, Joann Ball and husband Darrell of Rockholds, Bobby Hendrickson and wife Kathy of Corbin, Shirley Abott and husband Randy of Williamsburg, and Shelia Bingham and husband Terry of Corbin; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; step-brothers, Ronald Faulkner and Dan Faulkner; one niece Janie Hulkleberry and three nephews Vic Holt, BoBo Smallwood and Jr. Smallwood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 21, 2006 at the Woodbine Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Taylor and Rev. Ronnie Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the McFarland Cemetery at West Corbin.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bobby Ray Hendrickson Jr., Jimmy Hendrickson III, Chance Hendrickson, Tyler Hendrickson, Darrell Ball, Chris Cox, Terry Bingham and Billy Fore.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Saturday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
