Lonnie 'Booge' Wyatt

Lonnie "Booge" Wyatt, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Marymount Hospital in London.
He was born on October 24, 1928 to the Late John and Sylvia Cobb Wyatt, and on December 24, 1955 he married his wife of 49 years Opal Williams Wyatt.
He attended the Rossland Holiness Church and was a retired truck driver with Smith Transfer. He was a member of Teamsters Local #89, and Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict where he received three Battle Stars.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother, Kenneth Wyatt, his Sister, Jenny Wyatt; four Brothers-in-law; Jr. Copley, J.T. Decker, Jakie Elliott, and Pee Wee Wilburn; His Brother and Sister-in-law, Bud and Cora Belle Robinson; and his nephew, Bryon Wyatt.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Opal Williams Wyatt; Three Daughters, Melissa Wyatt and Martha Kelly and husband Clarence all of Gray, Brenda Hurst and husband Greg of Gold River, CA; Three Grandsons one of which he raised as his own; Lonnie "Jason" Wyatt of Gray, Casey Kelly and his wife Jineane of Winchester, and Jim Stevens and his wife of Modesto, CA; Two Brothers, William Wyatt and wife Verl of Corbin, and Sandlin Wyatt and wife Audelle of Gray; Six Sisters, Linnie Elliott, Charlene Wilburn, Eula Decker, Joyce Copley, Opal Medlin and husband Rev. Claude, and Kotha Wood and husband Virgil all of Gray; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law; Caroline Williams of Barbourville, Ed and Jessie Binns of Huber Heights, OH, James and Cheryl Williams of Gray, and Charles and Brenda Williams of Lafayette, IN; three Aunts and Uncles; and Several Nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Rossland Holiness Church in Gray with Rev. Randy Weddle, Rev. Randall Lee, and Rev. Charlie Humfleet officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Ricky Decker, Patrick Decker, Greg Medlin, Mark Medlin, Eddie Medlin, Jerry Wyatt, Craig Wyatt, and Michael Wyatt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Will Hollin, Michael Carter, Sammy Isaacs, Dewayne, Dustin, Preston, and Sean Decker, Butch Helton and his Friends and Neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Friday, Aug. 5, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home and from 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday, Aug. 6, at Rossland Holiness Church.
