Lonnie O. Partin

Lonnie O. Partin, 71, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Woodbine, he was the son of the late Alonzo and Lucy Perry Partin. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Devon Bradley; and by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by four daughters and two sons: Vickie and Kenny Harrison of Dayton, Ohio; Tommy Partin of Woodbine; Teresa and Rick Roeder of Lakeland, Florida; Sharon Partin of Franklin, Ohio; Patricia "Fatty" Partin of Dayton, Ohio; and Marvin and Vickie Partin, of Dayton; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; one sister, Dorothy "Ethel" Burke of Woodbine; one brother, Garrette Partin of Sweetwater, Tennessee; 16 half brothers and sisters; one special son-in-law, Kenny Harrison; two special friends, Walter and Margie Roberts; one special granddaughter, Sheena Bradley; and numerous nieces and nephews, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, April 22, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Tye officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
