Loretta Ruth Clark

Loretta Ruth Moore Clark, age 87, of London, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at her home.
Born in Corbin, Kentucky on June 8, 1933 Loretta was the daughter of the late Samuel Ohler Moore and Della E. Felts Moore.
Loretta attended Corbin High School (class of 1951) and upon graduating Loretta married Bill (Arthur Finley) Clark. The couple relocated to Hammond, Indiana where Bill had taken a job with Youngstown Sheet & Tube, East Chicago, IN. Loretta found work as a telephone switchboard operator and later was employed by Simmons Mattress Company and Munster Hospital (Munster, IN). In Hammond, IN Loretta was an active member of the Hessville Baptist Church where she played piano for the youth choir and taught Vacation Bible School and upon moving to Crown Point, IN the family attended Dyer Methodist Church. Upon retirement, Bill and Loretta came back home to live in Corbin before moving to London, KY. Loretta had a passion for music and was a gifted pianist and singer. She cherished time with family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Arthur Finley Clark; son, Bryan Samuel Clark; and brother, Kenneth L. Moore. Loretta is survived by her daughters, Linda Clark Morgan (Ed) of London, Karen Ree Clark of Petaluma, CA, and Kimberly Clark Trama (Vince) of Kingston Springs, TN; son, James Michael Clark (Kathleen) of Loveland, OH; sister, Jayne Rose Sears (Don) of Corbin, KY; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all who mourn her passing.
All services for Loretta will be private.
