Lori Ann (Davidson) Rettig, age 49, of Columbus Township, MI, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
She was born in Detroit, MI on September 16, 1965 and worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Clinton Township, MI.
Lori was preceded in death by her brother William Thomas Davidson, grandparents Chester Noah White and Jewell Virginia (Jones) White, and aunt Agnes Virginia White.
She is survived by her beloved partner Lawrence "Larry" Harold Guzdziol; parents Hilda Jeanine (White)Askins, Michael James Pietrzak, and William Thomas Davidson (birth father); children Marcus James Stackpoole, Kristi Ann Rettig (and their father Mel Howard Stackpoole), and Adam Michael Rettig (and his father Garry Adam Rettig); grandchildren Marcus James Stackpoole, Mikaila Marie Tatiana Stackpoole, and Lilliann Grace Stackpoole; sister Dianna Michelle Pietrzak; nephews Jonathon Michael Davidson and Joshua Ryan Davidson; niece Jasmine Elizabeth Maree Davidson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in MI, KY, OH, and TN.
Lori was an avid pool player and also enjoyed genealogy research, gardening, spending time outdoors, and taking care of her five cats.
Funeral service will be at 1pm on Saturday December 6, 2014, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home in Corbin, KY. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery in Gray, KY.
Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm on Saturday at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
