Lorine Collins

Lorine Collins, age 80, of Barbourville Street, Corbin, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at her residence.
She was born on June 26, 1923 in Indian Creek, Gray, Ky, the daughter of the late Abe and Flora Engle Helton. She was a certified caregiver for the elderly, where she worked faithfully for 40 years. She was a member of the Candle Ridge Baptist Church in Gray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Silas Collins; a Son Tyrone Brewer; and her first husband, William Brewer.
She is survived by one Son, Boyd Brewer and his wife Fran of Somerset; two Daughters, Patricia Hull of Corbin and Retha Diane Profitt and her husband Terry of Woodbine; One Sister, Leafus Profitt of Corbin; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Davis Bend Cemetery in Knox County, with Terry D. Profitt, Terry M. Profitt, Jerry L. Profitt, Jacob P. Profitt and Friends serving as Pall Bearers.
Visitation will be on Friday from 6-9pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
